You may be wondering, "Why is everything in plain text?" It happens that a few years ago [ (2014) ] the [ tilde.club ] popped up kinda selflessly. One night, one person decided to make his UNIX computer a server, and give it access to a lot of people. And that idea, while not new, has spread since. In 2020, texto-plano is added to that federation of tildes called [ tildeverse ].
It seems to me that the simplicity behind text is what has ensured its rise. In times where saturation of information, excessive pretension and showy tendency guide the present, a little piece of cyberspace without these authoritarianisms is what we need. Also, it brings us the opportunity to experience some aspects of the "past internet", which for many reasons I'm convinced we need to rescue and incorporate today (Permacomputing).
This house is a contribution and an exploration to encourage and continue that simplicity. It's my example, my way of declaring that a few bytes are enough.
The first time I uploaded anything to this /house was on 8oct2021. I'll continue to remodel whenever possible. I'm going to try to update my house once a week.
